Graduate Courses

This schedule outlines many online agricultural courses that are available each term at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Graduate students in Agronomy or Horticulture may select classes from this list to fulfill their course requirements. Each student should work with his/her faculty advisor to complete and file a Memorandum of Courses (MOC) with Graduate Studies approximately midway through their program. Enroll through MyRed.nebraska.edu and follow the registration procedures. Contact instructors for syllabi.

Priority Registration for Spring 2019 begins Oct. 29, 2018.

Course Delivery

The Department of Agronomy and Horticulture Online Program offers 3 virtual communities:  Canvas,  Campus Extension and the Plant & Soil Science eLibrary (eLibrary instructions).

Students must maintain good grades while in a graduate program.  The Office of Graduate Studies requires that students earn a B or above on all courses cross-listed with an undergraduate class and a C or above on all graduate-only courses.

For an official listing of online classes, be sure to visit MyRed, the Graduate Course Catalog or the list of online courses offered through the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CASNR) (pdf). To enroll in AG*IDEA classes, contact Diane Wasser, AG*IDEA coordinator at dwasser1@unl.edu, 402-472-6251.
